ChemoRisk is different from tumor profiling or cancer recurrence testing, it is designed to identify genetic variants associated with an increased risk of serious toxicity from common chemotherapy drugs.
ChemoRisk does not replace your oncologist's clinical judgment and cannot predict every chemotherapy side effect. Instead, it provides additional genetic information before treatment begins to help you and your oncology team better understand whether you may have a genetic susceptibility to specific treatment-related toxicities.
