A DNA Swab sample kit with instructions

A pre-paid return envelope to ship your sample to our laboratory
How to Collect Your Sample

Step 1
Remove the swab kit from the envelope

Step 2
Open the wrapper, making sure not to touch the white swab head

Step 3
Rub the swab firmly against the inside of your cheeks for at least 1 minute. Use reasonable, firm and solid pressure.

Step 4
Replace the swab, tip (head) first, in the RapidDRi pouch.

Step 5
Seal the pouch with the provided label sticker.

Step 6
Place the pouch back in the envelope.

Step 7
Close the envelope with the self-sealing tape and send your sample back via mail (drop the envelope in the Canada Post mailbox).
Important Notes
- Do not eat or drink at least 1 hour before taking the sample
- Brush your teeth at least 1 hour before collecting the swab
- Make sure not to touch the white swab head with your fingers
- Apply firm, solid pressure when rubbing the swab against your cheeks
